If these walls could talk... Whole lot of history in this old building. We've been going through some old poster libraries and getting all the feels. We will be posting some here over the next few weeks - We would love for YOU to share some posters from your favorite shows if you have them, pics of them, or even if you made them for your own show. All are part of the history of this room. Feel free to email any old poster images you have to [email protected] or send ...us via messenger and we will add them to our album. #saveourstages
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi Senator Mitch McConnell America needs you to act NOW. Congress must put politics aside and get a relief deal passed for the good of e...very independent venue and promoter in the country. WE CANNOT WAIT. Millions of citizens are on the verge of homelessness and businesses are on the precipice of bankruptcy through no fault of their own. This is America. Come together, or we all go down with the ship. #PutPeopleOverPolitics #SaveOurStages #RESTARTAmerica #ExtendPUA Senator Jerry Moran Senator Pat Roberts Dr. Roger Marshall Congressman Roger Marshall, M.D. Congressman Steve Watkins Representative Sharice Davids Congressman Ron Estes
Music. It brings us all together. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) and Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) introduced the bipartisan Save Our Stages Act. We need you to con...tact your elected representatives through SaveOurStages.com asking them to support this bill. The Save Our Stages Act provides Small Business Administration grants for independent venues, promoters, and festivals affected by COVID-19 stay-at-home orders. These grants offer at least six months of financial support to keep us afloat, pay employees, and preserve a critical economic sector and our ecosystem for communities across America. To get the Save Our Stages Act and RESTART Act across the finish line, we absolutely need your help. Every one of your letters and calls to your local Senators and Representatives is what will keep us alive and get these acts passed. Without your help many will surely perish and close their doors forever. Our members told us months ago that if the shutdown lasted six months or longer and there wasn’t federal relief to hold them over, 90% of them would fold permanently, said Dayna Frank, president of NIVA and CEO First Avenue Productions. With no revenue and immense overhead, four months in, it’s already happening. The warning light is flashing red and our only hope is for legislation like Save Our Stages Act or RESTART Act to be passed before Congress goes on August recess. Otherwise, most businesses in this industry will collapse. Through SaveOurStages.com, more than 1 million emails have been sent letting all 538 members of Congress know that constituents want to keep independent venues, promoters, and festivals alive. Please help us and continue to push. Call, Email, Write, Shout! Help us to get the Save Our Stages and RESTART Acts passed. PLEASE GO TO THE LINK BELOW to contact your legislators and help #SaveOurStages www.SaveOurStages.com This link will automatically populate with your Senators and Congressional Representative based on your zipcode. Thank you so very much for your continued support! #saveourstages #savelivemusic #writeyourreps
