We must all come together and fight racism until it is eliminated. These have been and will continue to be our commitments as an organization:... Support Black and Minority Owned Small Businesses: From vendors, to builders, to wine companies, we try and support black and minority entrepreneurs. This is an ongoing pursuit and as we grow so will our partners. Create a Safe and Racism Free Space: We have tens of thousands of people come through our space each month and while we cannot control who visits us, we can control how we react when we see racism and inequality happening. We have worked hard to create a safe place for our guests and staff but we can and we will be more vigilant. Open Dialogue about Institutionalized Racism: It is critical that we create a safe place to have an open dialogue about race with our guests and staff. These are not easy conversations to have but they are absolutely essential. These conversations lead to understanding and understanding leads to the elimination of oppression. Donations: We are a small business that is closed due to Covid-19 and our business is in a very challenging place but today we have made donations to the @naacp. Our commitment moving forward is to create more opportunities for donations to organizations fighting racism. Unite Together: Coming together in one place to celebrate each and every one of us has been our goal since the beginning. We may not be perfect but we strive to continue to get better.
